Cross Learning Field visit, Mandalay and Sagaing regions, 18-22 March 2019, Myanmar

Overview

American Refugee Committee (ARC) with the support of the Myanmar national program, in the coordination of Myanmar CSO platform steering committee members, had organized the field visit in Mandalay and Sagaing region during 18-22 March 2019.

The team had an opportunity to learn from the Mandalay regional health department about the sub-national elimination plan and their challenges. The team also met ICMV volunteers, community mobilizer and community volunteers in the remote villages and listened to their experiences. RAI RSC representative Louis da Gama, alternative representative Dr Soulany Chansy from Lao PDR, Thailand focal person Alistair Shaw, Cambodia Focal person Maysac Sun, Vietnam representative Triet Bui and Myanmar focal person Dr Phone Si Hein and ARC senior program coordinator Rachel Sismar participated in the visit.
